On Sunday, December 11, at 4:00 PM, in the Giove Room of the La Nuvola Conference Center in Rome Più Libri Più Liberi event, he ANORA Association will present Tony Carnevale’s new book “OLTRE LE NOTE – A Non-Rational Approach to Music” published by Celid.
The book results from extensive research into music as an expressive and representational, rather than rational, language of human experience. It also draws on Carnevale’s many years of artistic and professional experience, including the last 22 years dedicated to hands-on work in music education through workshops led by the author, which have received prestigious sponsorships from SIAE and IMAIE.
The author’s research is deeply rooted in anthropology, focusing on the psychoacoustic and psychodynamic aspects of the creative process in music and education.
At the same time, it addresses practical aspects of composition, arrangement, production, and performance
The ANORA workshops have trained numerous artists and educators, including Professor Simone Scazzocchio, a faculty member at Berklee College of Music in Boston who wrote the book’s foreword.
This event offers a chance to reflect on the meaning of education, particularly in artistic and musical fields. It presents a concrete approach that has already been successfully implemented over the years
In addition to the author speakers will include, Laura Buono, Sabrina Circhetta, Pietro Felici, Elisa Pezzuto.
