Before he collaborated with SOUNDTRACK Records, Tony Carnevale entirely conceived, produced, and released seven albums: the first two with the ARTONICA label, where Tony was the artistic director. These were followed by five more albums, four of which were released by ARTONICA 96, two as TC Open Project, and one with DGP Entertainment. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After 2006, Tony became engaged in writing a choral work intended for the theater as a counterpoint to the introspective work of his previous album, Piano<\/em>.
It is a daydream that involves a large number of artists, regardless of their professional background, from students in music development Laboratories to internationally renowned musicians.

\u201cDreaming a Human Symphony<\/a><\/span>\u201d<\/i> (CD, Artonica 96)
is Tony Carnevale\u2019s seventh release. It was released in 2009 and remastered in 2013.(see https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tcopenproject\/<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>

This monumental work was first presented in 2009 at the Funnel in Rome, but it will indeed have much more to say in the future…<\/p>

After an intense, energy-filled experience like the Live performance, Tony felt the necessity for a more intimate project. The result is a collection of tracks born in different times and contexts but linked by a reflective nature. It is a collection of deep and intense emotions told \u201cpiano\u201d<\/i>. <\/p>

The artist\u2019s sixth work was born in 2006, officially marking the experience of the TC Open Project, \u201cPiano<\/a><\/span>\u201d<\/i> (CD, Artonica 96).<\/p>

Piano\u2019 is a word that means so many things, but here there\u2019s no \u2018piano\u2019 in the sense of \u2018pianism,\u2019 nothing that exists for its own sake; I simply wanted to offer something, without any professional role or image in mind, feeling only the emotions and thinking about the possibility of other human beings feeling moved.. <\/em><\/p>

This is the recording of a concert held at the Frontiera Club in Rome in 1996. It featured thirteen musicians, including Francesco Di Giacomo and Rodolfo Maltese from Banco. It was such a beautiful event that it couldn\u2019t remain a one-off performance. In 2003, following participant requests in his Laboratories, Tony captured it on record and made it part of his discography. <\/p>

Towards the end of the 1990s, Tony Carnevale\u2019s experiences in the field of dance were solidifying, thanks to his collaboration with choreographer Elisabetta Melchiorri.<\/p>

<\/p>

The connection between musical production and film scores led to the 1999 release of \u201cIII Movimento – A dance Opera for Rock Symphonic Orchestra<\/i><\/a><\/span>\u201din the form of a triple CD, to gather all the music that made up the soundtrack of the eponymous choreographic work created with Elisabetta Melchiorri.<\/p>

Thus, a union: on the one hand, the merging of sounds, where the “invisible” movement of modern rhythms meets that of the symphony orchestra, aiming to create a “modern symphonic” supported by a strict compositional structure with contrapuntal elements, while still taking into account the individuality of the performers; on the other hand, the “visible” movement of bodies, both tangible representations of the unseen flow of human creative thought.<\/p>

In this work, Tony returns to his confrontation with classical tradition, arranging M. Musorgskij\u2019s “Quadri Di Un\u2019Esposizione<\/i>” he album’s third track. A significant opportunity came on April 22, 1993,<\/i> when he took part in the \u201cProgressivamente<\/i>” concert at the Castello di Roma, where Banco del Mutuo Soccorso also performed, featuring three of the band\u2019s members (Di Giacomo, Maltese, Calderoni).

The album \u201cLa Vita Che Grida<\/i><\/a><\/span>\u201d (CD, Artonica) was released in 1995. Its title track was included in <\/span>fascicolo 6 titled \u201cAlla ricerca del nuovo: il rock progressivo<\/i>\u201d<\/a> <\/span>(CD La Repubblica\/EMI Italiana), from compilation \u201cL’Italia del rock\u201d, series, which sold around 120,000 copies.<\/p>

In 1995, the second track \u201cFuoco E Ferro<\/i>\u201d was included in the \u201cThunder Ermitage\u201dmagazine compilation \u201cTuono<\/i><\/a><\/span>\u201d (CD THN 0130-2)<\/p>

In the same year and the following one, Tony performed the tracks from the new album at the Mostra d\u2019Oltremare in Naples for the \u201cMusa Musica<\/i>\u201d event (1995),in Grosseto – for Lega Ambiente – and at Frontiera in Rome for the “Concerto Grosso” event (1996), later repeated at Alpheus and Big Mama.<\/p>

Tony Carnevale\u2019s first solo project emerged from his artistic exploration, which he had been pursuing since 1986. In 1989, an initial opportunity arose thanks to an art exhibition by artist Roberta Demuro titled \u201cRisonanze: Inconscio, Musica, Pittura<\/i>\u201dat the Princess Hotel Congress Hall in Rome.
<\/p>

The exhibition was accompanied by a video projection featuring moving footage of the displayed paintings, synchronized to Tony\u2019s music. It became the occasion to gather the compositions he had entirely arranged, orchestrated, performed on piano and keyboards, and produced as an entirely self-directed artistic project under his independent musical production.
